2）Why Green Building?

From the statistical data, almost half energy consumption is from buidling energy consumption. Almost 50% of raw materials are used for building. Almost 40% of solid wate is also from builidng. And, almost 40% environmental pollution is from building too. It means the influence to earth environment from the building is very great. So green building is necessary to develop, especially in developing countries.The global warming is becoming serious. Annual average temperatuer of the earth has been raising about 1℃ over past hundred years, it’s a big change and big problem. This tendency will occur the sea level going higher and higher, somewhere rainfall fewer and fewer, and meanwhile somewhere rainfall morer and morer. Desertification is becoming more and more serious. It will make more and more people lack of food and water.Green Building, will slow down the tendency of earth waming greatly.
